Miami und meine persönlichen Top Reisetipps für euch!
Ich habe eine Woche in Miami verbracht und meine Vorstellung von dieser Stadt hat sich nach dieser Reise bestätigt! Es ist eine verrückte und liebeswerte Stadt, genau wie die Menschen dort. Was ich alles erlebt habe und was ich euch für euren Urlaub empfehlen kann, dürft ihr hier sehen und lesen. Ob Coral Gables, Sunny Isles oder South Beach – Miami versprüht das besondere Flair und reisst einen in seinen Bann!
Coral Gables – Auf den Spuren von Al Capone und CSI Miami
Die ersten Tage verbrachte ich in Coral Gables, einem etwas ruhigeren Stadtteil unweit vom Flughafen (ca. 20 Minuten entfernt). Hier durfte ich im legendären Hotel “The Biltmore” übernachten, wo auch Al Capone schon genächtigt hat oder CSI Miami oder auch Miami Vice gedreht wurden. Ich war also in einem Filmhotel gelandet, welches auch sehr imposant wirkt, fast wie ein Schloss.
Das Hotel ist umgeben von einem großen Golfplatz und zahlreichen Palmen, so dass es aus dem Grünen nur als großer Turm zu sehen ist.
Hier sieht man alles nochmal genau von oben – Als Mittelpunkt zeigt sich der große Pool, an dem die Gäste entspannen können. 
Am Pool befinden sich genügend bequeme Liegen, die an der einen Seite des Pools aufgestellt sind. Auf der anderen Seite befindet sich der Zugang zu der Bar und zum Hauptgebäude.
Das Hauptrestaurant ist eine Art Atrium, welches von allen Seiten zugänglich ist. Unten könnt ihr schon den Frühstücksraum bewundern, der von zahlreichen Palmen umgeben ist und eine gemütliche und elegante Umgebung vermittelt.
Das Frühstück kann entweder als Buffet Menu ode A la Carte gewählt werden. Ihr werdet am Eingang des Restaurants von einem Kellner zu einem freien Tisch begleitet und sofort bedient. Nach dem Frühstück mache ich mich also auf Erkundungstour in die Stadt auf. Wie kommt man am besten in Miami von einem Punkt zum anderen ?
Unterwegs in Miami mit Bus, Taxi und Bahn:
In Miami gibt es Busse, Trolleys und Züge, die einem zur Verfügung stehen (und natürlich Taxen). Es ist jedoch nicht so ganz einfach wie bei uns, dass an der Bushaltestelle ein Fahrplan mit ausgewiesenen Zeiten und den Namen angebracht ist. Hier findet ihr lediglich ein Schild mit der Nummer der jeweiligen Linie. Wo hin die Reise aber geht, kann man online oder über eine App prüfen. Die Kosten für eine Fahrt liegen bei ca.2,25 USD (und bitte passend zahlen, da es kein Rückgeld gibt).
Anders sieht es bei diesen Trolley aus, die regelmässig fahren und kostenlos sind -hier steigt man einfach ein und das wars. Die Trolleys kann ich empfehlen, wenn ihr in der Stadt unterwegs seid und schnell zum anderen Punkt kommen wollt. Hier gibt es aber ebenfalls keine genauen Informationen an der Haltestelle zu den Stops – es wird immer nur die Route ausgewiesen und die Richtung.
Taxen gibt es natürlich sehr viele und ihr könnt diese entweder bestellen oder einfach anhalten. Ein 20 minütigen Fahrt in der Stadt oder vom Flughafen zum Hotel kostet ca. 23-25 USD. Eine andere kostenfreie Alternative sind die Züge, die in der Stadt kurze Streckennetze haben und ohne einen Fahrer auf Schienen fahren. Diese findet ihr oft im Financial Distrikt und sind eine schnelle Methode, da sie sehr regelmässig fahren. Für längere Strecken empfehle ich jedoch den Service “UBER”, den ihr mit einer App nutzen könnt, und der deutlich günstiger ist als ein Taxi. Hier könnt ihr in Miami euch auch ein Auto mit anderen Gästen teilen (wird über die App als Möglichkeit zur Auswahl gestellt) und damit nochmal Kosten sparen.
Meine Empfehlung ist ein Mix aus UBER und Trolleys oder Zug.
Von Coral Gables bin ich mit dem Bus und dem Trolley an der Bayside angekommen und geniesse hier die ersten Eindrücke.
Die Bayside ist eine Art Hafen mit zahlreichen Geschäften und Restaurants und Ausgangspunkt für viele Bootstouren. Genau das richtige für einen klassischen Touristenaufenthalt.
Hier könnt ihr gemütlich einen ganzen Tag verbringen : Shoppen, Essen, Musik hören und viele Touren machen.
Es gibt hier wirklich sehr viele Souvenirstände, Geschäfte und sogar eine kleine Shopping Mall – und so bin ich nach 10 Minuten auch fündig geworden und erstrahle im Miami Style. (Das Cap hat ca. 12USD gekostet)
Was macht man sonst hier ? Selbstverständlich empfehle ich euch eine dieser Bootstouren zu machen, denn hier könnt ihr die bekannten teuren Villen der Stars aus der Nähe besichtigen und eine Art Führung mitmachen. 
Meine Wahl fällt ganz schnell auf dieses Speedboot für 32USD für 40-50 Minuten spassiger Fahrt. Es geht wirklich rasant zu und der Anblick der zahlreichen Villen der Stars ist wirklich beeindruckend. Anschließend geniesse ich ein leckeres Mittagessen und mache mich wieder auf den Weg ins Hotel, den die Riviera von Miami wartet auf mich.
Sunny Isles Beach – Die Riviera von Miami:
Sunny Isles Beach liegt als Halbinsel direkt am Atlantik und zeichnet sich durch einen kilometerlangen Strand aus und zahlreiche gigantische Hotels aus. Interessant fand ich hier, dass gleich neben der Hauptstraße, die an den Hotels vorbeiführt auf der anderen Seite neben einem Parkplatz und Wohnhäusern auch private größere Yachten zu finden sind.
Auf den ersten Blick mögen diese Giganten nicht sehr hübsch wirken, aber in der Gesamtheit als Blickfang sind sie das Markenzeichen und prägen das Bild von Sunny Ilses. Hier findet ihr ein luxuriöses Hotel neben dem anderen und einen Vorteil haben diese Riesen – der Ausblick aus dem Hotelzimmer ist einfach fantastisch und muss bei der Aussicht auf den Strand genutzt werden.
Gegenüber der Hotelkomplexe auf der anderen Strassenseite könnt ihr wieder private Wohlanlagen (Villen, Apartments) mit eigenen Bootsanlegestellen bewundern. das ist schon sehr speziell – man wohnt einerseits in der Stadt und hat aber trotzdem das Wasser und ein Boot gleich vor der Haustür.
Newport Beachside Hotel – Meine Unterkunft für die nächsten Tage
Das Newport Beachside Hotel liegt ebenfalls in erster Reihe am Strand und ragt inmitten der anderen Hotels hoch in den Himmel. Ich war an diesem Tag etwas sehr früh dran und wollte zumindest schon meine Koffer abstellen um schnell zum Strand zu gehen. Ich wurde hier so herzlich aufgenommen und man hat sich sehr beeilt mein Zimmer schnell zu reinigen, so dass ich innerhalb von 40 Minuten sofort den fantastischen Ausblick geniessen konnte.
Das ist original mein Zimmerausblick aus der neunten Etage vom Hotel! Lange habe ich es natürlich nicht ausgehalten und musste mir gleich alles aus der Nähe angucken.
Am Pool vergnügen sich viele Gäste und der Anblick ist sehr einladen – direkt am Pool findet ihr auch eine Bar,an der ihr etwas leckeres essen könnt oder Getränke bekommt.
Mich zieht es aber sofort an den Strand – und da sind endlich die Miami Strand Häuschen – das sind natürlich die Wachtürme der Rettungsschwimmer.
Was für ein langer breiter Strand! Die Kulisse ist wie schon erwähnt geprägt von zahlreichen gigantischen Hotels, die aber dem Ganzen dieses Besondere von Miami verleihen. 
Hier könnt ihr in beide Richtungen am Strand einen sehr sehr langen Spaziergang machen. Ich habe nach einer Stunde aber genug, da es doch sehr warm ist und ich mich nun am Strand etwas ausruhen möchte.
Ich weiss nicht warum, aber ich fühle mich irgendwie wie zu Hause (obwohl es hier natürlich angenehmer ist, da der Strand direkt vor der Tür liegt)
Miami war für mich auch immer mit diesem Bild der bunten Türme am Strand im Gedächtnis geblieben und so habe ich bestimmt jedes dieser Türme fotografiert und mich auch standesgemäss oben hingestellt. Es ist einfach Miami und dieses Gefühl der Freiheit und Gelassenheit kommt hier sofort auf.
Die letzten Stunden verbringe ich ebenfalls noch am Strand, denn es ist immer noch sehr warm und am Pier an der Bar hört man die Abendstimmung aufkommen.
Hier bin ich wieder – direkt vor dem Hotel im warmen Sand bei gefühlten warmen 26 Grad.
Die Skyline ist abends natürlich durch die Beleuchtung der hohen Hotels irgendwie verträumt und die Riesen erstrahlen am Strand in ihrem Glanz. In Sunny Isles findet ihr ein sehr großes Einkaufszentrum, welches sehr modern und elegant wirkt. Zudem natürlich die Top Restaurants und Geschäfte, die jedoch in einer extra Passage versteckt sind und der Eintritt gegen Gebühr gewährt wird. Hier sollen viele der reicheren Einwohner und auch Stars unterwegs sein. Am nächsten Tag geht es auch entlang der Hauptstrasse in Richtung South Beach!
South Beach – das wilde Miami!
Die meisten von euch, genau wie ich werden hier in South Beach das Miami wiederfinden, was verrückt, laut und bunt ist. Dieser Teil von Miami ist der bekannteste, da hier wirklich die Party den ganzen Tag stattfindet und der berühmte Ocean Drive jede Menge zu bieten hat. Das ist definitiv #SoMiami!
Direkt am Anfang vom Ocean Drive nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt befindet sich das stylische Hotel “Sense Beach House” mit dem eigenen Restaurant “Local House” ( aber dazu später mehr). Hier sind die Hotels am Ocean Drive ähnlich wie dieses eher kleiner und im modernen und sehr stylischem Stil gehalten.
Der Eingangsbereich ist hell und modern mit sehr vielen interessanten Details geschmückt. Ein leichter mediterraner Stil zeigt sich hier.
Neben dem Eingangsbereich findet ihr auch das Restaurant im ähnlichem Design und ich kann euch jetzt verraten – das Essen hier ist nicht nur optisch ein Hingucker, sondern auch extrem lecker.
Mein Zimmer ist in der zweiten Etage mit einem seitlichen Blick auf das Meer und vielen Palmen vor der kleinen Terrasse. Es ist hell und modern in einem türkisen Ton alles perfekt abgestimmt. (Die Betten sind extrem bequem!) 
Oben auf der Dachterasse findet ihr eine Oase zum entspannen – alles wieder sehr schick und gemütlich einladend – für mich irgendwie so richtig Miami Style!
Das das Hotel direkt am Ocean Drive liegt befindet sich der Pool ebenfalls auf der Dachterasse mit einem herrlichen Ausblick auf die Stadt. 
Warum das für mich Miami Style ist ? Unten ist das Local House Restaurant , welches einfach zum relaxen und beobachten einlädt. Hier spielt sich das Leben ab – ihr könnt zu dem den Ocean Drive beobachten. Ich hätte hier eigentlich den ganzen Tag gemütlich sitzen können und die Leute beobachten können.
Hier im Restaurant findet ihr auch keine 08/15 Gerichte, sondern kulinarische Kunstwerke. Ich habe diesen Wassermelonen Salat mit Ziegenkäse gesehen und in mein Herz geschlossen. Wer etwas sommerliches Leichtes probieren möchte : Wassermelonen, Tomaten mit Salz, Pfeffer, Minze und Schafskäse oder Ziegenkäse bestreuen. Euch wird das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen!
Der Ocean Drive – Mittagessen bei Gloria Estefan und Gianni Versace!
Ich habe vorhin erwähnt, dass sich hier die Party den ganzen Tag abspielt – zumindest tobt hier das Leben und das Gefühl vom Miami richtig! Am Ocean Drive findet ihr sehr viele Restaurants und Bars, die im Besitz einiger Promis sind – wie z.B. das Restaurant von Gloria Estefan und ihrem Mann oder das bekannte Gianni Versace Hotel.
Markant ist hier auch die Art Deco Architektur, die viele Gebäude prägt und dem Ocean Drive das besondere Aussehen verleiht.
Irgendwie schickt und trotzdem nicht abgehoben! Der Ocean Drive lebt an jeder Ecke und die Menschen sind extrem freundlich!
Hier ist auch das Motto – sehen und gesehen werden und alles etwas lauter – wer hier den Ocean Drive entlang fährt zeigt auch gerne was er hat – und das ist auch gut so! 
Ich konnte davon gar nicht genug bekommen – wenn man sich die Menschen hier ansieht – dann merkt man diese Gelassenheit, Freude und Fröhlichkeit, die einen sofort in den Bann zieht.
Die Bars und Restaurants bieten preislich sehr gutes Essen und einen perfekten Blick.
Es gibt hier natürlich noch weitere interessante Distrikte zusehen, doch leider fehlte mir hier etwas die Zeit, denn ich hatte den Strand noch gar nicht gesehen.
Gegenüber dem Ocean Drive ist eine grüne Oase mit Palmen, die viele zum entspannen einlädt und gleichzeitig der Zugang zum Strand ist. Ihr werdet hier auch sehr viele Jogger treffen, die von morgens bis abends unterwegs sind.
Vorbei an weiteren super stylischen Hotels geht es für mich direkt an den Strand!
Der Strand ist zu beiden Seiten sehr breit und der Sand weiss und fein und das Wasser türkisblau und klar.
Am Strand findet ihr zudem sehr viele Anbieter mit sehr bequem Liegen zum Preis von ca. 10USD für den ganzen Tag.
Jeder Anbieter erstrahlt in einer anderen Farbe und alle Liegen haben diese dicken Auflagen.
Der Strand füllt sich bei gutem Wetter relativ schnell.
Guckt euch das Wasser an! South Beach hat wirklich einen wunderschönen Strand und ich mache es mir für den rest des Tages einfach gemütlich und geniesse hier meinen letzten Tag.
Könnt ihr meine Liege sehen ???
Nach einem Spaziergang bleibe ich erstmal hier wieder liegen.
Interessant finde ich es auch, dass der Strand sehr sauber ist und sowohl die Rettungsschwimmer als als die Polizei hier sehr oft kontrolliert. Am Eingang zum Strand findet ihr auch die wichtigen Regeln und wer z.B. Glasflaschen mitbringt – muss damit rechnen, dass die Strandpolizei diese wieder einsammelt und ihr ohne Getränke da steht. Ich finde, das sehr vorbildlich und bei dieser Größe und den vielen Menschen sehr gut.
Als die Sonne untergeht, kommt etwas Wehmut auf, denn es ist der letzte Tag an diesem wunderbaren Ort.
Diese Aussicht werde ich auch vermissen.
Warme Sonnenuntergänge!
Übrigens ist das Wasser sehr warm und zum Schwimmen perfekt – Hier muss man nur etwas auf die Wellen und die Strömung achten (Wer zu weit rausschwimmt wird sofort vom Rettungsschwimmer rausgepfiffen)
Ich werde diese Türme besonders vermissen ( wenn man sich oben hinstellt, kommt man sich irgendwie vor wie bei Baywatch)
Nach meinem ersten Aufenthalt in Miami bin ich nochmehr von dieser Stadt fasziniert als vorher in meinen Gedanken und Erwartungen. Ob Coral Gables, Sunny Isles Beach oder Southbeach Miami ? Ich komme definitiv nochmal wieder, denn diese Stadt muss man einfach lieben und beim Anblick der Bilder verspüre ich immer noch das besondere Gefühl, dass es sich anfühlt wie zu Hause!
Fazit:
Die Wahl der Transportmittel sollte man vorher gut auswählen, denn hier kann man auch Zeit und Geld sparen. Die Preise für das Essen und Getränke im Restaurant sind überhaupt nicht überteuert, wie mir vorher mitgeteilt wurde. Die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Menschen in Miami ist extrem zu betonen und euch wird jederzeit mit einem Lächeln geholfen (selbst wenn man euch eure Fragen nur im Gesicht ansieht). Am meisten gefallen hat mir jedoch das ganze Ambiente in der Stadt – wie die Menschen diese Freude und Lebenslust auf ihre Art und Weise ausstrahlen und einen mitreissen.
