1 Week Clublife with delicious „Kaiserschmarrn“ 

This was my first time doing „Club“ Holidays and i didn’t know what to expect at all.  I was already 10 times in Mallorca before, and i was happy to be here again.

From Berlin it takes only 2,5 Hours to Mallorca, so its a short travel. I have been picked up from the airport and after 40 min drive i arrived at the ROBINSON Club Cala Serena in Mallorca.

Welcome in the east part of Mallorca – Cala Serena. The Club has a magic view over two paradise bays. The Club area is very large with more than 120.000 qm.  You can do a lot of activities here like go for spinning in the own sport club, golf, going on a bike tour or even do a special Harley Davidson tour.

I decided to relax the first day at the pool and let the summer beginn.  To be honest – i walked down to the pool area and found that view – omg – hard to decide where to relax when you have a view like this from the sunbed.

For Lunch or Dinner you can chose if you prefer the buffet in the main restaurant – where you got offered also low carb food if you don’t like all the other delicious food or eat at „La Tasca“, which offers you typical spanish food.  If this is not enough try the special food experience at the gourmet restaurant „L’Anima“.

Here you can see the Club from above with the main pools, the beach on the right is the Club Beach „Cala Serena“ and the bigger one on the left , called „Cala Ferrera“ . It takes you 3 minutes to get from the main pool to the right beach or just another 5 minutes to swim at the other beach.  Guess where i am ?

I am looking for the delicious „Kaiserschmarrn“ – what ? Yes – every day after lunch you have the chance to make a break and grab coffee and tasty cakes at the main bar.11035984_10153006650753603_809081620678771696_n

Here it is – the home made „Kaiserschamarrn“  – (you can see also a fresh warm apple pie on my plate). I think i have to stop doing this post and go to the supermarket to buy Kaiserschmarrn as i still have the warm and yummy taste in my mouth.

Now it was time to go back to my sunbed and relax a bit and swim in that crystal clear water. You can jump from the cliff or take a ladder. No i am no jumper as i am afraid 😛

Every morning you can find a detailed program on the table or the reception which tells you if there are any special events or themes in the evening. Today it was the „Noche de San Juan“. It’s like a traditional midsummer party in honor of San Juan where everyone is dressed in red/black.

There was also a white party at the beach bar on evening . You won’t be disappointed enjoying the special events in the club.

This was a magical feeling to see the decoration and all the guests dressed up in the same color.

Even the cook was dressed in red. It’s a good chance to meet other guests too as you are sitting in a group at the table and enjoy the Spanish food. Everything was well decorated and the whole event was great organized.

I met Angelika preparing fresh garlic & tomato bred and smiling all the time. (She is responsible for almost everything in the Club, especially for the Social Media activities).  11201872_10153006647143603_7166287703807351518_n

After eating the las days way to much, i decided to go to the diving school and see what is going on there. You can do a test day, where you can learn some basics before you decide to go with the crew diving.  The guys are very cool and relaxed  – they explain everything very good and you feel safe after the instruction lesson.

If you visit this club, just go for the test lesson if you never went diving before. It’s an awesome feeling and maybe you will see some funny fishes there as the water is very clear.

In the evening i was sitting on the terrace of my room and enjoying the beautiful view and the sunset. the next big city (Cala D’Or) where you will find souvenir shops, restaurants and bars is close to the Club – only 15 min walking. Cala D’Or is a small village with many white small houses.

The east coast of Mallorca is famous for all the pretty clear bays. Thats why i decided to rent a small vespa and drive to Cala Pi next day. It takes about 1 hors driving relaxed like i did. I spend the afternoon at the beach and dreaming of having one of that boats and spending few month sailing from coast to coast.

My last day at the ROBINSON Club Cala Serena made me feel a bit sad, as i met many people and the food was more then delicious. I will come definitely again to enjoy the Club life and explore the beautiful island.

1 Woche Clublife mit herrlich leckerem „Kaiserschmarrn“ 

Ok, ich war jetzt ca. 10 Mal auf Mallorca, aber das ist das erste Mal wo ich offiziell Cluburlaub mache würde.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, was Cluburlaub genau bedeutet oder was ich hier erwarten konnte.

Der Flug nach Mallorca aus Berlin dauert nur 2,5 Stunden und schon ist man in der Sonne. Weitere 40 Minuten mit dem Auto durch eine wunderschöne Landschaft bis ich endlich im ROBINSON Club Cala Serena auf Mallorca angekommen war.

Willkommen im Osten von Mallorca – Cala Serena nennt sich hier der Ort. Der Eingang präsentiert sich groß und warm. Mit ca. 120.000 qm Fläche ist es auch eine große Anlage.  Es fällt auf den ersten Blick auf, dass die Gäste sportlich und gut gekleidet sind – das finde ich schon angenehm, da es bedeutete , dass das grölende Volk hier wohl nicht zu finden sein wird. Ganz im Gegenteil wie es sich im Laufe der Woche rausstellen sollte.

Wie immer heisst es erst Koffer in Zimmer bringen und dann schnell den Pool suchen. Lange muss man hier nicht suchen, da der Hauptpool sehr groß ist und sofort ins Auge sticht. Eine Etage tiefer gibt es einen weiteren Pool, der ebenfalls eine gute Größe hat.

Mein Tagesziel war jedoch für heute nur zu entspannen und mir die Bucht anzugucken und natürlich etwas zu essen.

Für Frühstück, Mittag und Abendessen gibt es ein großes Hauptrestaurant mit einer gemütlichen Terrasse – In Buffet Form findet man hier wirklich eine sehr leckere und besonders erwähnenswert gesunde Auswahl. Jeden Tag gibt es spezielle „Diät“ Gerichte zur Auswahl. Wem das nicht reicht, kann gerne im spanischen Hausrestaurant „La Tasca“ abends aus einer Auswahl von traditionellen Tapas. Das „L’Anima“bietet eine weitere zusätzliche kulinarische Attraktion. Hier ist eine Reservierung vor ab notwendig und gespeist wird A la Carte.

So ein Ausblick von oben ist schon herrlich – Hier kann man die beiden Pools sehen und die zwei Buchen. Cala Serena ist rechts neben dem Hotel und nur 3 Minuten entfernt und Calla Ferrera findet ihr hier links im Bild – hier muss man jedoch ca. 10 Minuten laufen.

Was ist aber hier Pflicht ? Nachmittags gibt es jeden Tag Kaffe und Kuchen. Klingt vielleicht nicht toll, aber wenn ihr diesen selbstgemachten Kaiserschmarrn (oder Apfelstrudel) mal probiert habt, dann wisst ihr was ich meine 🙂

Ab diesem Tag steht der Kaiserschmarrn wieder ganz oben auf meine Liste.

Die letzten Sonnenstunden verbringe ich gemütlich auf der Liege im schattigen Plätzchen mit einem Ausblick auf die kristallklare Bucht und dezenter Club-Musik im Hintergrund. Das nenne ich entspannen! We noch nie auf Mallorca war oder bisher nur die eine bekannte Partymeile kennt, sollte sich mal die Buchten im Osten genauer anschauen. Hier ist das Wasser einfach nur türkis und klar und es finden sich sehr angenehme Menschen 🙂

Übrigens wird hier jeden Morgen das Clubprogramm in einer kleinen Übersicht auf den Tischen verteilt. Hier sollte man genau hingucken, dass es besonders zum Abend tolle Themen Abende gibt – woe heute die „Noche de San Juan“. Es ist eine bekannte Tradition, dass alle in rot/schwarz gekleidet sind und gemeinsam am Strand am Lagerfeuer den Sommer begrüssen.

Es war einfach toll zusehen, dass viele Gäste sich hier angeschlossen haben, so dass der Abend in den Farben rot & schwarz erstrahlte.

Natürlich war auch die Dekoration und alle Details an diesem Abend farblich abgestimmt, so dass die Feier endlich beginnen konnte.

Frisches Gegrilltes Fleisch, leckere Gemüsevariationen und lokale Gerichte wurden serviert.

Ich entschied mich aber auch ganz schnell für eins dieser leckeren Knoblauch Stullen – persönlich zubereitet von Angelika  (Sie ist die Club Managerin und für die Organisation zuständig und immer mit einem Lächeln dabei).  11201872_10153006647143603_7166287703807351518_n

Für Sport begeisterte gibt es hier zahlreiche Möglichkeiten – Im Club selbst gibt es jeden Tag Kurse im Fitnessbereich oder ihr entscheidet euch für das Unterwasserprogramm mit der Tauschschule. Diese bietet zusätzlich Grundtauchkurse an mit anschliessendem Tauchgang an.

Wer vorher noch nie tauchen war, sollte diesen Schnupperkurs im Pool absolvieren.

Abends ist einer kleiner Spazierganz in die Stadt sehr empfehlenswert. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 15 Minuten und es erwarten euch tolle Bars, viele Souvenir Shops und zahlreiche Restaurants. Hier ist richtig viel los in Cala D’Or.

Die Ostküste von Mallorca ist wirklich für die traumhaften Buchen bekannt. Mit einem Roller oder Mietwagen könnt ihr zu der traumhaften Bucht Cala Pi fahren.

Am letzten Tag habe ich verstanden, was ein Cluburlaub bedeutet: Gemeinsam an einem Themenabend teilnehmen, Sportbegeisterte Gesinnte kennenlernen oder gemütlich die Sonne geniessen und beim einem kühlen Drink sich kennenlernen. Die Gäste sind sehr offen und grüßen sich freundlich auch wenn sie sich nicht kennen (hier läuft keiner an einem mit gesenkten Kopf vorbei). Es macht einfach Spaß in dieser familiären Atmosphäre neue Leute kennenzulernen.

Kein Zwang, kein Muss sondern alles nur ein gepflegtes Kann. Ich werde definitiv noch einmal einen Cluburlaub machen, da ich von der Atmosphäre sehr begeistert bin.
