Mauritius ist zu jeder Jahreszeit eine Reise wert, egal ob im Sommer oder im Winter hier gibt es viel zu entdecken. Das Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Resort auf Mauritius liegt inmitten des 2.500 Hektar großen Domaine de Bel Ombre. Das Hotel selbst erstreckt sich auf einer Fläche von 15 Hektar und ist inmitten eines tropischen Gartens am Citronniers Fluss gelegen, eingebettet zwischen der Lagune und dem bei Kennern beliebten Heritage Golf-Club. Das Resort befindet sich in in erster Reihe unmittelbar am Strand und bietet daher einen perfekten Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten.
Die Zimmer & Kategorien
Das Hotel verfügt über 158 Zimmer, die in vier verschiedene Kategorien unterteilt sind. Die kunstvollen Gebäude mit den Veranden und der Einrichtung erinner leicht an die Kolonialzeit und die Zeit des Zuckerhandels. In Kürze werden jedoch die Zimmer und die Anlage modernisiert und in neuem Glanz erstrahlen.
Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und erinnern im Design an ein modernes Schlosszimmer. Farblich abgestimmt zieht sich der Fliederton bis zu den Terrassenmöbeln. Je nach Zimmerkategorie führt der Blick von der Terrasse direkt zum Strand oder zum Hauptpool.
Das Resort & die Umgebung
Das Besondere and dem Resort ist die direkt Anbindung zum Partnerhotel, welches über einer kleine Brücke am Ende der Lagune zu erreichen ist. Hier können sowohl die Aktivitäten genutzt werden als auch alle anderen Bereiche wie Poloanlage oder die Liegen am Strand. Für die Hotelgäste steht zudem ein Shuttle zum Le Telfair Golf Resort bereit, der in wenigen Minuten den imposanten Golfplatz erreicht. Hier finden nicht nur begeisterte Golfprofis ihren Spass, denn es gibt zahlreiche Angebote für Anfänger. Die Anlage selbst ist umgeben von Palmen und Blumen und erstrahlt in vielen bunten Farben.
Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und bietet genug Platz für einen langen Spaziergang. Jeden Mittag gibt es für die Hotelgäste ein kleines Kuchenbuffet, welches frisch zubereitet wird.
Pools & Entspannung
Wer nach Mauritius reist, der sehnt sich auch nach Sonne und Entspannung. Der große Hauptpool bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den Strand und die Bar. Sowohl am Strand als auch am Pool stehen bequeme Sonnenliegen mit gemütlichen Polsteraufsätzen. Die Handtücher müssen hier nicht gesondert abgeholt werden, sondern warten bereits auf die Gäste auf den Liegen. Die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam und bringen auf Wunsch gerne neue Handtücher direkt an den Platz.
Wie vorhin schon erwähnt besteht auch hier die Möglichkeit die Pools der angrenzenden Partnerhotels zu beiden Seiten zu nutzen. Dieses sind nämlich ebenfalls nur wenige Schritte entfernt und gehören zu der Hotelgruppe.
Essen & Restaurants
Für kulinarische Erlebnisse stehen den Gästen drei Restaurants , das Amafrooty, das Balafon und das Zafarani zur Verfügung. Egal ob Lobster Abendessen, Frühstück in Büffetform oder besondere Kreationen des Hauses. Die Auswahl ist auch für Vegetarier groß und lässt auch bei der Optik nicht zu wünschen übrig. Die Gäste können hier zwischen Halbpension und All-Inklusive Varianten bei der Buchung wählen. Das Frühstück gibt es hier immer in Büffetform, das Mittagessen wird täglich à la carte serviert und beim Abendessen können die Gäste je nach Restaurant zwischen Buffet oder à la carte wählen.
Aktivitäten & Sport
Mauritius ist für Wassersportaktivitäten sehr bekannt und so kommen die Gäste im Heritage Le Telfair auf ihre Kosten. Das Resort bietet eine sehr große Auswahl an, sowohl für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene. Segeln, Windsurfen, Kajak, Tretboot, Schnorcheln, Glasbodenboot, Stand Up Paddel oder private Ausflüge werden hier angeboten.
Wer sich dem Golfen widmen möchte, der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Egal ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittene Spieler, die Möglichkeiten Im Heritage Golf sind groß und jederzeit für die Gäste der Heritage Le Telfair zugänglich. Das Heritage Le Telfair sind eigentlich drei Hotels in einem, da die Gäste alle Annehmlichkeiten der Partnerhotels nutzen können. Die Anlage ist groß und gepflegt und trotzdem sind die Wege vom Zimmer zu den jeweiligen Aktivitäten in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar (ausser dem Golfplatz).
