Mauritius – My Instagram Journey

6 Days, 6 Instagramers , 1 Paradise – My Instagram Experience with LUX* Resorts in Mauritius and #MessyhairinMauritius
Berlin Hauptbahnhof, 8.30 h in the morning where i met Michael – aka @berlinstagram 🙂 We know it is getting a long journey. After 4 hours we arrived Frankfurt and saw our Emirates Airbus A380 , ok not bad. The best thing was the free Wifi on board 🙂 The next 6 hours i spend more then less on Instagram ,Facebook , drinking some Gin Tonic again (some of you know why) and playing Candy Crush (just a joke it was Candy Mania)
I am droning on long distance flight some gin Tonic as i am afraid of flying and can’t sleep – trying to calm down with it – never helps, but i don’t give up 😛
Hello from Dubai where we found Nathalie from Paris aka @nathparis and started the first walk.
Thats Michael in Action after 6 hours flight still enough energy to capture the whole Dubai airport.
Ok guys, stop it and lets go – its 00.55h and boarding time to Mauritius.
We arrived at about 9 o’clock in Mauritius and could find our driver …. we didn’t look out for that sign : “Gareth Pon Party” ?
Arrived in Paradise! Lets wait for the others!
Here we are in my room for the next two days. This is exactly my view from the bedroom at the LUX Le Morne Hotel.
And this is the house, that each of us had for the stay. 
The bad is just bad. After 25 hours journey i was afraid to test the it for a second as i knew that i would fall asleep at once. The room was soooo big and i loved the view to the garden side.
We started exploring the Hotel and this is the view from the entrance – a big kind of infinity pool with a beautiful view. When i saw this, i know we arrived in Paradise!
I guess we still look pretty tired, but thats me and dear Nathalie (@nathparis)
Nathalie, me & Michael -> three Instagramers arrived in paradise.
I will guide you through the Hotel now as the area is pretty big and everything is covered with big green palms.
If you walk around you will find a beautiful area covered with plenty tropical palms and big big pillows at the beach where you can enjoy your moments in paradise.
After the long journey we were ready to taste the food. This is kind of a typical Mauritius food with spicy sausages and colorful salad.
In the evening we enjoyed delicious wine followed by Island Kitchen dinner.
Next morning we started the real Instagramers trip with a cool small bus.

First stop at Maconde View Point where the Hashtag #messyhairinmauritius was born. Why ? 
Just take a closer look at the hair. They just look messy because of the strong wind. And GOPRO rules….
Ahhh… yes thats Ofentse and his Drone (i hate the drone 😛 ) If you want the see the result, visit @unclescrooch Account 🙂 … ok Drone rocks!
And of course its me taking a selfie with the gopro – kind of difficult as it was very windy.
Back in our bus to visit the next stop and go for swimming in that clear blue sea. I love Mauritius.

We jumped into the water with the cams (gopro) and it tools few minutes as the kitesurfer started showing off 🙂 
Thanks to them for these results. Couldn’t be better.
Lunch with Instagramers means take a photo of everything before you start. Not a joke, i will show you some pics later.
After the Lunch we drove the the Rochster Falls, where some kids jumped in to the water. It wasn’t that high, but it looked dangerous anyway (You can see some kids on the right in the pic)
Here we visited the seven colored earth, which is very famous in Mauritius and interesting to see what nature can do.

We needed to hurry up to catch the last sunset in the Hotel as it was more that spectacular to see.
This is the result! Fascinating light and the reflection in the pool made the picture perfect.
Next morning we started early shooting the sunset at LUX* Le Morne. 
The Light conditions were simply perfect and it was pretty warm in the morning. 
Can you see the drone ? Ofentse is just taking a picture of his own drone ? Did i miss something ?

After the sunrise shooting we had an early breakfast at 7 am to catch the boat and find the dolphins.
As i promised you can see that Instagramers are taking pictures of almost everything 🙂 And doing everything to get a great view too. 
Delicious breakfast – could have it everyday if i would have the time and someone would prepare it every day 🙂
Lets wait for the Dolphin Boat – this is kind of #Instawait

Everyone in the Boat ? Yes and also the Drone , but what for ?? 
As Ofentse was ready to jump in and follow the Dolphins anytime. Where are the Dolphins ?
I guess we need to jump into the water and search them.
I was searching underwater for a long long time.
hmmm…. somehow i have missed them… lets go back to the boat … and have fun with Ofentse … yes lets do some selfies … dude..
Ok, time to visit the next Hotel – LUX*Belle Mare – Not by Boat …
Hello from LUX*Belle Mare – This is the way to my room … after we left our suitcases in the room, it was time to cook 🙂 But first take a look at the amazing bright room…
Here we are in the main restaurant with a fantastic view to the pool …

Here we go. the best cooks in the world – Me & Nathalie 🙂
After Lunch we took a coffee at the beautiful beach bar with a view over the paradise sea.
After a small coffee it was time was some sweets and i dint expect to get this one! Which one would you like ?
At this bar you will get the best coffee ever and also an introduction about coffee roasting and the different beans. We tasted also a coffee with beer taste 🙂
This cool old Rolls Royce is a kind of lunch snack bar where you get amazing fresh burgers or nachos during lunch time.
This was the next morning where we got that breakfast called “Pieds dans L’eau” – Feets in the water, guess in know why this called like this.
Fresh Juice and of course our daily coconut drink . 
All Instagramers happy enjoying the beautiful view and the delicious breakfast in Paradise – anything else i need to say ? No 🙂
After the breakfast i walked a bit at the beach to take a look at the paradise place for a last time as it was the last day 🙁 
Last morning in Paradise i catched this spectacular sunrise – kind of drama sunrise
Yes i use my iphone too for taking pics 🙂 
The journey ends with paradise memories of lovely people, delicious food, great scenery and of course a very comfortable bed which i will miss for sure.
