I arrived on Sunday at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa at met that crazy people here :
Enjoying the early evening with a nice cocktail at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa
Instead of relaxing, we are having some fun – Instagramers always try to capture the best moment! Thanks to Lauren & Emily for that special moment!
Thanks to Ading for posing 🙂
Next morning i discovered that huge pool!
That view was a good start for a day! The weather was also more than perfect.
After the fresh and healthy breakfast it was time to explore the beach and the area.
This is what we found! Holy crap – the colors changed every minute – i didn’t need to edit my pics!I took about 30 images of that awesome sunset!
Wish we could stay few days more here! I couldn’t get enough of that sunset!
Monday: We arrived at Port Denarau Marina and checked-in at the Mamanuca Express counter for our transfer to Cloud 9.
After 1 hour we arrived at Cloud 9 🙂 and this is me on the Mamanuca Express Boat!
Yes this is real! The color of the water was incredible blue. Say Hello to Lauren and Ading 🙂
Cloud 9 is a big floating paradise – a two level platform wit a bar and an italian wood-fired pizzeria. Either you can just relax here and enjoy the view… or go for a swim and have fun.
Or do some water sport and have much fun….
like i did 🙂
After Lunch at Cloud 9 we board again the speedboat to Likuliku Lagoon Resort.
Here we are! and the friendly Resort Team was already waiting for us – singing the “Bula Bula” Song 🙂
After we check in to our rooms, everyone started exploring that island.
The light conditions were again amazing and surprised me every minute. I always wanted to see the over water buses 🙂 and here they are!
Just a magical sunset! LOVE that golden light and the over water buses in the background.
Tuesday afternoon we had to leave this magical place.
Waiting for the South Sea Cruises transfer to Port Denarau Marina.
The small Boat was for all the suitcases.
The big Boat was for the Instagramers 🙂
Lets go to the next place. The Boat ride took about 50 minutes from the resort to the Port.
From the Port Denarau Marina we walked to the (private hanger) at Nadi Airport from where we took the Island Hoppers to Savusavu.
Omg! I hate flying, but this plane made me even more frightening as it was pretty small…
Enough space for all Instagramers and the pilot 🙂
and me and my Gopro 🙂 From the airport we drove directly to the Namale Fiji Resort.
This was the view from my Room – The Bula 2 House!
After a short swim i drove to my Bula House with the caddy car :
After the lunch we went to the beach to see the sunset 🙂
Look at that colors ! I love Fiji!
For Lunch next day we had a special activity: Picknick on a small Island 🙂
Ready to cook the meal ?
And so many delicious fruits!
Ready for Lunch!
Instagram Lunch on a private small island.
This is Eric – my crab – we made also a funny crab race in the sand, but Eric lost this race. We spend a beautiful afternoon with tasty fiji food on the small paradise island.
Thursday: We arrived at Savusavu Airport and checked-in at the Island Hoppers counter for our next flight to Nadi.
omg, this helicopter remind me of another journey 🙂 Fingers crossed …Ready ? Yes we are! Thanks to Island Hoppers for a very safe and friendly flight. I would do it again.
What a view from the helicopter, feels kind of strange but at the same time a crazy feeling too.
Hello happy Instagramers 🙂
Here we are! Finally arrived at Nanuya Island Resort! No we did not … last ride was the boat to the island:-)
From this Island we had to take a small boat to get to the resort.
The ride takes just about 10 minutes and you can enjoy the perfect view.
As we arrived, George was waiting for us 🙂
So far the journey was full of paradise places. But this place was FIJI feeling pur. Lets take a look:
Enough space to relax and enjoy the view.
But be careful relaxing with it 🙂
Only one person allowed!
This can happen when two people try to relax 🙂 Or should i say: two girls 😛
After the lunch we took a boat to visit another island to catch the sunset.
This was the sunset at the small island close to our resort.
Lauren at work 🙂 All Instagramers catching the sunset at the small & private island.
Beautiful colors all the time (Can you spot Chris? ).
Friday: On the way to visit the Sawa-I-Lau caves – a part where the Blue Lagoon Movie with Brook Shields was filmed.
From the Resort it takes about 1 hour to get to the caves.
On the way to the caves we had some stops to capture some other spots.
There are two caves where you can go for a swim. To get to the second caves you have to swim under water through a tunnel. As i was afraid to do this, here is just one picture of the first cave.
In the afternoon after the cave tour we had some time to relax and swim.
And i did it of course 🙂
On Saturday it was time to pack the bags and go back to Nadi Airport.
My last picture from the small paradise Island.
We took the helicopter to the Airport and this time i could make some pics from the helicopter.
This was our Island – goodbye Paradise 🙁
There are many small islands which are still available 🙂
I would like to buy this small private island.
The last day in Paradise. We arrived at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. I had a fantastic room with a big bathtub and beachfront view.
As it was my birthday we had some delicious cocktails and very tasty food.
Yummy, Yummy, Yummy
Sunday: Time to leave and go back home. After the breakfast we had some time to relax and explore the big hotel area. These are the Bungalows with the Lagoon View and the big bathtube on the balcony.
The hotel has a big clean beach area with some big wooden sunbeds.
Love that view of the coconut trees.
The last hour i spend at one of few pools.
This was close to my apartment and the bar.
You can find also a big infinity pool, which is also very close to the main area with a Restaurant.
The journey was full of paradise impressions all the time. I couldn’t say which one was the best experience as every place has its own magical feeling. Hope you like my impressions – as i have many more, but this selection should represent what the journey was about.
After all i can say : PARADISE exists 🙂
Big thanks for the organization to :
The video will be available soon on Youtube 🙂
