You will find many different articles on the web with advices how to get more follower on Instagram – but my question is always: How do those people know whats the best way even they don’t have many Follower themself ? They dort really know! Most of them are just suggestions or assumptions.
If you want to be successful (in every part of your life)- just take a look on people who are already successful and ask yourself – what are they doing what i am not?
CHOOSE A TOPIC OF INTEREST, WHICH IS EXCITING FOR THE MAJORITY!
To reach as many people as possible you have to choose a topic which is interesting for many people as possible – Simple and easy !Why ? Special and extraordinary things will be examined more critically and its harder to reach the mass as sometimes its to special.

Please avoid low quality staff images, behind the scenes or self made selfies – thats not pretty cool for a brand to present this images with that visuals.
Most of the Instagramers from Europe are very active between 9am -20pm. Thats why i suggest to start with the first picture at 9am, the second at 2pm and the last one at 7pm.Those times are just from statistics too, which show the most engangement of using the internet. People use Instagram in the morning drinking a coffee – afternoon before, after or during their lunch and in the evening when they finished work.
If you like to reach people from the continents you need to change the posting time as there is a time difference for USA or the asian destinations. The most important thing is to post regularly in the beginning to get people used to your upload times.
NO GO: I see many Account posting 1 picture on Monday then 2 days gap and on thursday or friday 5 in a row!
As often as you can! Your own Engagement is especially in the beginnt the most important part to gain new follower. You can not upload a picture and then just follow your regular work or doing something else and wait for a fast growth. Instagram is a big Community and being a part of this is do the same what you expect from your follower. You want them to like and comment ? Then do the same! Simple and easy!

The biggest mistake a brand can do on Instagram is not replying to your fans. You dort need to reply everytime and to everyone – but in the beginning you should try and if there are questions regarding your brand – you have to answer ! If you don’t do – please do not complain about not growing or loosing fans. Its also written in the community guidelines : Be a part of the community and behave like this (You are not privileged because you are brand)!
Here is an example of TUI Germany – yes i am working with them and this is the reason why! They are taking time to reply and comment – not all the time, but enough to get seen by the community.
5. Who should i follow ?
When is see an account with 2000 or 5000 Following i would never follow them – why ??
I know they will never have time to check my images – they just follow as many people as possible to be followed back! Please read the community guidlines again! I am following around 300 people and this takes already a lot of time (3-4hozrs at least every day) to like and comment the feed. If you follow more then 1000 people – i promise you that you won’t make it to like them or even see all images.
I suggest to follow at least 300 people in the beginning to get used to the activities. If you follow bigger accounts, you have to be patient until they follow back – but if the do and like you pics its a bigger reach as their follow can see this in the timeline and could follow you back too.
Exapmple: If i like a picture of brand – 240k people can see this and for sure you could get more of my followers as someone with only 1000 Follower likes your picture (then only 1000 people see this)
Please don’t use #all #words #in #your #description #as #a #hashtag . As a brand you should try to brand one main hashtag which will be used by the community – You can use this Hashtag in the description to teach the fans. The goal is that your brand and the hashtag goes viral one day by their own. You can upload other hashtags after you have posted the picture (as your own comment)
You can use up to 30 Hashtags as long as you don’t place them in the description. The description is important to underline the message of the picture and not to confuse people with hashtags.
If you announced this before with a special hashtag, then its ok to repost 1-2 images a week (of course with mentioning the user!). Don’t this to often as the people want to see your own content as a brand. If i see an account only with reposts i am getting tired pretty fast as i excepted images from the brand and not other people. Its not a good sign – as it could mean you don’t have your own content.
