Club Med Finolhu Villas – Luxus Urlaub auf einer Privatinsel auf den Malediven mit einem eigenen Butler
Das Resort Club Med Finolhu Villas liegt ca. 5 Minuten Bootsfahrt entfernt vom Club Med Kani und die 52 Villen sind auf einer Privatinsel gelegen. Das Resort und die Villen sind so konzipiert, dass man tatsächlich 1 Woche lang die Villa nicht verlassen müsste.
Die Strand- und Wasservillen
Das ist eine Beach Villa mit einem eigenen Pool auf der Terrasse und stolze 151 qm groß. Alle 52 Villen, egal ob am Strand oder am Wasser sind 1-Zimmer Villen und haben das gleiche luxuriöse Design und einen eigen privaten Pool.

Die Villa hat ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit dem direkten Blick zur Terrasse mit dem Pool. Ihr könnt hier gemütlich den Nesspresso oder ein Glas Champagner geniessen. Auch das Schlafzimmer hat einen direkten Blick zum Strand und die Unterbodenbeleuchtung am Bett schafft eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre durch das indirekte Licht. Die Villa ist wirklich sehr geräumig und so könnte man den Ruheraum mit dem Badezimmer verwechseln, welches dort angrenzt – denn ihr findet hier ausser dem großen Bett noch eine Badewanne und ein Aussendusche.
Der erste Blick auf die Terrasse verschlägt einem gleich wieder die Sprache. Eine Aussicht wie im Paradies. Ein Tisch mit zwei Stühlen, ein großes Ruhesofa und dazu zwei Liegen mit gepolsterten Matratzen und natürlich der Pool als Highlight mit dem Blick auf den weissen Strand.
Ich habe zu Beginn erwähnt, dass man die Villa nicht wirklich verlassen muss, wenn man nicht möchte denn zu dem Service gehört auch ein Butler, der euch während des gesamten Aufenthaltes zur Verfügung steht und für euer Wohlbefinden sorgt.
Die Villen sind voneinander durch große Hecken getrennt und so kann jeder Gast ungestört am Pool liegen ohne dass ihn die Nachbarn beobachten. Zum Strand sind es ja nur wenige Schritte, da dieser gleich an die Terrasse angrenzt.
Hier könnt ihr im Hintergrund eine kleine einsame Insel sehen, die man sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen kann, denn das Wasser ist hier sehr flach und der Sand weich wie Puderzucker. In der Mittagssonne reflektiert der weisse Sand sehr, so dass man ohne Sonnenbrille nicht rausgehen sollte. 
Nur wenige Schritte links entfernt könnt ihr das Hauptrestaurant im Wasser gelegen sehen. Hier gibt es das Frühstück A la Carte, das Mittagessen in vier verschiedenen Stationen zur Auswahl und das Abendessen ebenfalls A la Carte.
Die Insel und die Aufteilung
Das ist der große Hauptpool mit der dazugehörigen Bar, die von morgens bis abends leckere Getränke uns Snacks anbietet. Auch hier im Club Med Finolhu Villas ist fast alles inklusive (Spa Anwendung werden extra berechnet). Wer gerne abends im Buffet Restaurant essen möchte oder die Angebote vom Club Med Kani nutzen möchte, der wird mit einem regelmässigen Shuttle in wenigen Minuten auf die Nachbarinsel gebracht.
Hier sieht man, dass die Insel vergleichbar übersichtlich ist, so dass die Wege auch kurz sind und damit gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Villen am Strand sind wie erwähnt durch wunderschöne grüne Hecken getrennt und bieten jedem Gast einen perfekten Aufenthalt.
Die Wasservillen befindet sich am Ende der Insel und sind ebenfalls nur wenige Minuten vom Hauptpool entfernt. Gäste können jedoch mit einem Golf Auto in ihre Villa gebracht werden und abgeholt werden.
Der Steg zu den Villen besteht aus Solarzellen – ähnlich wie der Übergang am Hauptsteg. Insgesamt ist die Anlage mit 2000qm Solarzellen ausgestattet und erzeugt damit fast 100% der benötigten Energie auf der Insel. Da hier die Sonne häufig scheint, kann diese Energie auch gespeichert werden. Damit ist Das Resort das erste auf den Malediven, welches auf Solarenergie zurückgreift.
Die Wasservillen haben jeweils einen eigenen Zugang zum Wasser und sind zudem voneinander getrennt.

Der Hauptpool und die Bar – Ein Infinity Pool zum Ausspannen
Der Hauptpool war trotz voller Auslastung sehr leer und man kann hier in der Näher der Bar wunderbar ausspannen. Es gibt zahlreiche gemütliche Ecken, die zum Verweilen einladen.
Vom Pool aus hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf den Strand und links befindet sich die Bar.

Die Bar bietet hier wieder ausgewählte alkoholfreie und alkoholische Getränke kostenlos an sowie warme und erfrischende Getränke von morgens bis abends an.
Mit einer Tiefe von 1,2m kann man hier gut eintauchen.
Am Pool (oder besser gesagt im Pool) findet ihr ebenfalls eine Möglichkeit zur Entspannung.
Wer es etwas schattiger mag, der findet hier auch diese gemütlichen hängenden Körbchen.
Der Pool hat eine flache Plattform und drei abgestufte Treppen im Wasser die zudem ein bequemes Sitzen im Wasser ermöglichen – was bei dieser Wärme sehr angenehm ist.
Gleich neben dem Pool mit der Aussicht zum Strand findet ihr weitere gemütliche Sitzkörbe. Diese werden jedoch häufiger abends von den Gästen genutzt.
Der Strand
Der Strand Abschnitt ist nicht sehr groß, da jede Villa ja einen eigenen Abschnitt hat und dieses hier nicht notwendig ist. Der Sand ist sehr weich und fühlt sich an wie Puderzucker an den Füßen. Der Sand wird in der Regel 1 Mal im Jahr aufgeschüttet, so wie das hier auf den Malediven üblich ist, da sonst die Inseln verschwinden würden.
Falls ihr euch aber entscheidet doch am Strand zu liegen, findet ihr hier ebenfalls Platz und eine paradiesische Aussicht.
Das Essen – All Inclusive A la Carte
Hier ist der Eingangsbereich und die Bar im Hauptrestaurant mit einem Glasboden, welches einen Blick auf die Fische ermöglicht. Das Frühstück kann gemütlich mit einem Blick auf das Wasser auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden und ist A la Carte auszuwählen. Das Mittagessen kann dagegen an vier Station ausgewählt werden, hier gibt es immer jeweils zwei Gerichte an einer Station, die alle kulinarisch und optisch auf einem sehr hohen Niveau sind. Das Abendessen wird dann ebenfalls wieder A la Carte ausgewählt und man hat die Wahl einen Tisch im klimatisierten Bereich zu wählen oder draussen.

Unterhaltung und Abendprogramm
Club Med Finolhu Villas legen viel Wert auf Entspannung und Erholung, daher gibt es hier kein großes Entertainment und laute Musik. Jedoch gibt es täglich ein schön angerichtetes kleineres Event am Strand. Die Informationen zu dem täglichen Programm findet ihr immer auf eurem Zimmer.
Mittags erwarten euch mal leckere Snacks and der Bar oder ein kleineres Barbecue am Strand mit frischen Cocktails.
In der Abendsonne vor dem Abendessen könnt ihr noch einen leckeren Cocktail und kleinere Snacks geniessen. 
An einem Tag wurde auch etwas Live Musik gespielt und bei diesem Anblick habe ich fast das Abendessen vergessen.
Wem das Abendprogramm zu wenig ist, der kann hier wie erwähnt den kostenlosen Shuttle zum Club Med Kann nehmen, der euch in regelmässigen Abständen mehrmals am Tag und Abend hin und zurückbringt. Die Informationen zu den Events im Club Med Kann findet ihr ebenfalls täglich auf eurem Zimmer.
Die Nächte im Club Med Finolhu können trotzdem lang werden, da auch in der eigenen Villa die Beleuchtung und das Ambiente noch zu langen gemütlichen Abenden verleitet und so kann es schon passieren, dass man auf der Liege auf der Terrasse mit dem Meeresrauschen in den Schlaf versinkt.
Der letzte Abend neigt sich dem Ende und ich kann euch wirklich sagen – Ich bin hier wirklich beim Meeresrauschen kurz eingeschlafen.
Fazit:
Natürlich macht die Umgebung auf den Malediven den Urlaub zu etwas Besonderem, aber man auch immer schauen, was einem wichtig ist. Hier sind Gäste gut aufgehoben, die gerne Wert auf Privatsphäre und einen besonderen Service legen und sich hauptsächlich ausruhen wollen. Wer die große Unterhaltung und ein großes Essenbuffet sucht ist hier auch nicht ganz richtig. Hier sind kulinarische Erlebnisse wichtiger als die Masse (auch wenn ich Frühstücksbüffet Liebhaber bin). Ich kann mich auch nicht entscheiden welcher Club Med für mich besser wäre, da beide sehr unterschiedlich sind. Ab besten ist es den Urlaub zu teilen und beides zu erleben oder gelegentlich den Shuttle zu nutzen.
