Im April 2018 startete die Carnival Horizon ihre Jungfernsaison in Europa. Freuen Sie sich auf verschiedene Kreuzfahrten durch das Mittelmeer bevor im Mai 2018 die Atlantiküberquerung Ihnen Zeit gibt, das Bordleben ausgiebig zu genießen.Anschließend warten spannende Kreuzfahrten ab New York und Miami auf die Carnival Horizon und Sie.

Die Schiffe der Carnival-Flotte werden nicht umsonst als Fun-Ships betitelt. Zu jeder Tageszeit gibt es für jedes Alter und für jeden Geschmack etwas Neues zu erleben. So können Sie sich beispielsweise im Spa-Bereich verwöhnen lassen, sich im Wasserpark auspowern, eine Runde Minigolf spielen oder sich in den Kunstgalerien inspirieren lassen. Ein Highlight des Schiffs ist der SkyRide; ein Schienenparcour in luftiger Höhe, den Sie in kleinen Fahrzeugen mit Pedalkraft bezwingen können und dabei einen fantastischen Ausblick auf das weite Meer haben. Auch das Abendprogramm kann sich sehen lassen. In der Liquid Lounge finden Shows im Las Vegas-Stil statt, es gibt ein 3-D Kino an Bord und Sportübertragungen und Konzerte kommen ebenfalls nicht zu kurz. Des Weiteren warten wie auch bei der baugleichen Carnival Vista 12 Bars und Lounges auf Sie!

Die Carnival Horizon verfügt, wie ihr Schwesterschiff, eine Vielfalt an verschiedenen Kabinen. Dazu gehören Innen-, Außen- und Balkonkabinen sowie großzügige Suiten. Darüber hinaus bietet das Schiff exklusive Themenkabinen, wie z.B. die “Havana” Kabinen und Suiten, die Familien “Harbor” Kabinen und Suiten und zu guter letzt die “Cloud 9” Spa Kabinen und Suiten. Sämtliche Kabinen bieten in Verbindung mit einzigartigem Dekor und Design den bestmöglichen Komfort, sodass man sich wie Zuhause fühlen kann. Die Balkonkabine ist von der Größe ausreichend für zwei Personen. Neben einem weichem Doppelbett steht eine kleine Sitzecke und ein Tisch zur Verfügung. Ein weiteres Highlight sind Annehmlichkeiten wie 24h Kabinenservice oder Softeis rund um die Uhr.

Dresscode
Für Carnival Cruise Lines steht das Wohlbefinden an erster Stelle. Deshalb kann man sich an Bord gerne leger und bequem kleiden. Abends hat man natürlich auch die Möglichkeit in eleganter Kleidung zu dinieren, jedoch ist es nicht immer obligatorisch. Hier genießt man einfach den Urlaub in gemütlicher Kleidung und einer entspannten Atmosphäre.
Landausflüge
Die Route führt durchs Mittelmeer über Barcelona, Cagliari, Neapel, Rom, Livorno und Marseille. Bei jedem Landgang stehen den Gästen zahlreiche Ausflüge zu Auswahl. Wer sich vor Antritt der Reise noch nicht entscheiden kann, der kann die Ausflüge auf dem Schiff direkt buchen oder über die Carnival App. Hier werden alle Ausflüge genau beschrieben und anschliessend mit dem Boardguthaben verrechnet. Man sollte natürlich nicht allzu lange warten, da einige Auffülle auch schnell ausgebucht sind. In diesem Fall kann man die Städte auch auf eigene Faust erkunden.
