Second #Tuiphotowalk at the Puravida Resort Blue Lagoon Village!
Here we go with the second photowalk and this time i will jump into the pool! Promise! (not only me)
Kos is a very small island as it tooks us only about 15 minutes to the Hotel (from Marmari Palace Imperial). We arrived there and Mirja Geertz – the Experience Manager of the Hotel – was already smiling and waiting for us.
The Hotel is almost completly surrounded by amazing nature. This was a perfect view with green mountains from the main entrance . The style is very clean and modern everywhere (perfect for taking pics too)
This is a bar – close to the entrance in the main hall.
Big relaxing chairs and sofas at the terrace which looked very inviting to take a seat and relax but we have been invited to discover the area before the walk. But more about that amazing place a bit later.
Mirja told us that some people already signed up for the photowalk and i was surprised when the group arrived at the reception. More than 20 people! Omg! This is going to be a fun walk. Most of them already used Instagram and had more questions about photography at all.
The big surprise for the guests was a voucher for two for a massage sponsored by the hotel for the best image taken during the walk. After explaining all important details about the route for the walk and the secrets of mobile photography we started with the second #Tuiphotowalk.
This was our first stop at the restaurant with the beautiful wooden style and the fantastic contrast created by the pool area in the backgroud. All the shadows from the tables and chairs made a perfect location to take the first picture.
Somehow the group couldn’t wait to get to the first pool (The pool area at the Puravida Resort Blue Lagoon Village is more then huge, i stopped counting cos wherever you take a look you will find a pool).
The group was bigger that i excpected . Where to stand that everyone can see and hear me ?
Of course! Here we go and i jumped into the pool with my clothes to explain the group the next challenge. You can see that this was the best desicion i could make that day.
First: Go on you knees to have a better perspective!
Next: Focus the subject (this time it was again a coctail) – not a bad day for me 🙂
Make a picture! Two young passionate Instagramers jumped into the pool to get a better view. I guess the lesson was sucessfull as they wanted to have the best view and a great picture. Yes it means we had also fun 🙂
Everyone was just interested in doing a good picture and seriously they did a very good job when i walked around to take a first look at the results.
We arrived at the beach at the yoga place to capture the next beautiful view. Sometimes you can find things that can look like a natural border in the picture. This was a good place to show this effect. The white soft curtains created in the picture a border. Sorry for not showing the result – you need to do it by your own 🙂
Instead of going to the next point we discovered that private lounges at the beach.
You need to make a reservation and then you can relax in that privat lounge with a private food and drink service. We needed to stop the photowalk as we decided to spend the rest of the time here. – The End –
Ok, just kidding! Our last stop was the SELFIE lesson at the beach. This is now my favourite part of the walk as everyone is so happy when i mention that part.
Btw : You can see here our passionate Instagramers and Mirja in action! The photowalks are cool and fun too, thats why everyone was trying out all secrets to get the best picture. I am really very happy to see so much interest and fun “Instagraming” (this i how i call it)
How to make a good selfie ? Just look for the best light and dont hold the arm to high. Just imagine someone is standing in front of you with your phone and taking a picture of you.
The engagement during the photowalk was amazing! I need to say that everoyne did a great job there and i would do it again and againf cos it’so much pleasure to see people trying out and beeing happy about advices.
Whenever you visit the PURAVIDA Resort don’t forget to take a picture and use that hashtag #puravidaresort and #bluelagoonvillage
This time we had a big group, lot of fun and also a first winner for the voucher for a massage!
Congratulation to Julian @Julian_450 for a very vibrant and colorfull coctail picture.
The story ends here! Please stop reading as it’s now only about the Hotel and the amazing food there.
In Case you don’t like public pools, you can book a private Villa with your own pool.
If you like to have more action you will find fun at the activity pool with animation for everyone.
I was more interested in food as i was again hungry. You don’t need to search as you wil find many pool restaurants there which look very inviting and have allways a great view.
After having a snack we went to the pool to edit our pics and do some more (yes again underwater fun)
Guess ther is no need to describe that view ?
These is also a kind of private area – appartments with a sharing pool and private service too.
Ok, now i was realy hungry and for the next part there should be a special #foodwalk. Thanks to Mirja for showing us how difficult it can be to choose food. I was under pressure as i found a greek part, italian part and a big dessert area in the restaurant.
We took a seat in the restaurant and i started to run and couldn’t decide.
But it tastes much better ! I wish i could eat that picture now.
Yummy, who wants to try one ? This was my paradise – some of you should already know that i love eating 🙂
Ok, i will stop here and hope to visit that place one days again!
Thanks to dear Mirja Greetz (Experience Manager) for guiding us through the fantastic Hotel and of course :
