Anreise
Bintan ist eine wunderschöne tropische Insel im Südchinesischen Meer. Eine kurze Fahrt mit der Fähre von Singapur bringt einen zu dieser wunderschönen Insel mit Stränden, Dschungel und reicher Kultur. Die Insel hat viel zu bieten, von Romantik und ruhigem Leben am Strand über aktionsreiche Dschungelabenteuer und Radtouren bis hin zu kulturellen Exkursionen. Bintan ist nur eine kurze 45-minütige Fahrt mit der Fähre von der Metropole Singapur entfernt. Täglich gibt es mehr als 77 Abfahrten von drei verschiedenen Betreibern. Die Flugzeit ab Jakarta beträgt nur 1 Stunde und 20 Minuten und auch hier gibt es täglich mehrere Flugverbindungen.
Unterkunft – Angsana BintanResort
Wer hier auf der Insel ein gutes Hotel sucht, der wird schnell fündig. Das Angsana Bintan liegt an einem eigenen Strand in der Bucht Tanjong Said Bay. Die Unterkunft bietet Ihnen Aussicht auf das Südchinesische Meer. Der 1,5 km lange Privatstrand lädt zum Entspannen in der Sonne oder zum Bummeln ein. Wassersportmöglichkeiten werden im eigenen Marine Center angeboten. Das Fährterminal Bandar Bentan Telani und das Einkaufsviertel von Bintan liegen jeweils 15 Fahrminuten vom Angsana entfernt. Das Resort bietet den Gästen zusätzlich einen kostenlosen Hin- und Rücktransfer vom und zum Fährterminal von Bintan Island. Tagesausflug – White Sands Island

Tempelbesichtigung – 500 Lohan Tempel

Der 500 Lohan-Tempel ist ein buddhistischer Tempel, in dem sich ein fantastischer Skulpturenpark befindet. Die 500 Arhats scheinen die Hauptattraktion zu sein. Die Namen jedes Arahats stehen auf jeder Skulptur geschrieben. Jede der 500 Skulpturen ist äußerst lebensecht und erfasst die Eigenschaften, Gesichtszüge und Körperhaltungen der Arahats. Es gibt gleichzeitig ein Gefühl von geordneter Formation und Bewegung. Um den Tempel zu betreten, müssen die Besucher durch einen beeindruckenden Torbogen gehen, der von General Heng und General Ha bewacht wird. Neben dem Torbogen befindet sich ein Pavillon mit Buddhas im thailändischen Stil. Vor diesem Pavillon befindet sich eine Skulptur von Baby Buddha. Die umgebende Mauer ist mit tibetischen buddhistischen Symbolen verziert.Die Haupthalle befindet sich gleich neben dem Pavillon, wo sich eine Skulptur von Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva auf dem Altar befindet. Darunter und auf dem Boden befindet sich eine taoistische Gottheit. Die Haupthalle wird von lebensgroßen Skulpturen der Dharma-Protektoren Weituo und Sangharama Bodhisattva besser bekannt als Guan Gong, bewacht.
