Die Malediven sind und bleiben ein echtes Paradies für viele Urlauber. Das Milaidhoo Island Resort ist ein luxuriöses Boutique-Resort im UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat in der Nähe der Bucht Hanifaru im Baa Atoll. Das eigene Korallenriff gehört zur Schutzzone und gilt als hervorragendes Schnorchel- und Tauchgebiet.

LAGE & ANREISE
Ab Deutschland beträgt die reine Flugdauer ca. 11 Stunden nach Male. Mit Turkish Airlines fliegt man über Istanbul (2-3 Stunden) und dann erst von dort bis zum Flughafen Male (8 Stunden). Einen Flug in der Economy Class bekommt ihr schon ab 333 € und in der Business Class ab 1.853€. Nach der Ankunft am Flughafen Male geht es mit einem Transfer zum Hafen und zum Gate der Trans Maldivian Airways, von wo es weiter mit dem Wasserflugzeug zum Resort geht. Der Urlaub beginnt dann wirklich hier mit dem spektakulären Flug mit einem Wasserflugzeug, welches in einer Höhe von ca. 2000m über dem Wasser fliegt und schon nach wenigen Minuten eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Inseln bietet. Das Resort liegt im Baa- Atoll und ist nach ca. 30 Minuten Flugdauer erreicht.

Unterkunft & Kategorien
Das Resort beintet insgesamt 50 Villen in vier verschiedenen Kategorien. Sowohl die Wasservillen als auch die Strandvillen sind sehr geräumig, klimatisiert und haben jeweils einen eigenen Süsswasserpool und eine große Terrasse. Die Villen sind für zwei Personen konzipiert und somit ideal für Pärchen. Ein großes und bequemes Doppelbett bildet den Mittelpunkt in den Villen und man geniesst immer eine Aussicht auf die Terrasse. Die Räume sind hell, modern und die typisch Maledivischen Kunstwerke zieren die Wände. Zwischen den Wasservillen und den Strandvillen gibt es nur einen minimalen Unterschied in der Form des Pools, der Farbgestaltung und den Anordnung im Badezimmer.

Die Wasservillen sind über einen Steg erreichbar und haben alle einen direkten Zugang zum Meer. Die Treppe an der Terrasse hat zusätzlich eine kleine Dusche. Die zwei Sonnenliegen, eine große Schaukel, eine Sitzecke am Pool und ein Tisch bieten pure Erholung auf der eigenen Terrasse nach einem Schnorchelausflug. Die Villen haben zudem einen Sichtschutz, der den Gästen eine vollkommene Privatsphäre garantiert.
Das Highlight im Badezimmer ist eine freistehende Badewanne mit dem direkten Ausblick auf das Meer. Diese ist lediglich durch eine Terrassentür getrennt und kann bei Bedarf vollständig geöffnet werden, so dass die Gäste eine freien Blick geniessen können. Für eine Abkühlung sorgt der 1,20m tiefe private Süsswaserpool auf der Terrasse mit einem fast nahtlosen Ausblick auf das Meer.

DIE STRANDVILLEN
Die Strandvillen sind ebenso geräumig und hell und sind auf der Insel direkt am Strand angeordnet. Maßgeschneiderte Möbel und ein edles Design im maledivischen Stil sorgen für Komfort. Auch hier stellt der Schlafbereich mit einem großen Doppelbett den Mittelpunkt in der Villa. Bodentiefe Terrassenfenster garantieren den perfekten Ausblick am morgen. Wer gerne die Sonnenstrahlen später geniessen möchte, der hat die Möglichkeit nicht nur die Terrasse abzudunkeln, sondern auch die Dachfenster können elektronisch zugezogen werden.

Der hintere Bereich der Villa besteht aus einem großen Ankleidebleich und dem Badezimmer, welches ebenfalls sehr hell ist und jede Menge Platz für zwei Personen bietet. Zwei getrennte Waschbecken und zwei Duschen, wovon eine im Aussenbereich zu finden ist, bieten den Gästen den bestmöglichen Freiraum. Auch bei den Strandvillen findet ein ähnlich großer Süsswasserpool mit einer Tiefe von 1,20m seinen Platz.

WASSERVILLA vs. STRANDVILLA
Die Wasservilla ist optisch ein Hingucker besonders aus der Vogelperspektive. Nahtlos geht das Blau des Pools in das Türkise des Ozeans und die freistehenden Häuser wirken visuell sehr extravagant und luxuriös. Tatsächlich ist bei vielen Resorts den Unterschied zu den Strandvillen groß und die Ausstattung ist meist deutlich anders. Im Miladihoo Resort erleben die Gäste keine Überraschung bei der Buchung und können theoretisch nach der persönlichen Vorliebe wählen. Beide Kategorien sind nicht nur groß, hell und komfortabel, sondern ähneln auch visuell stark und unterscheiden sich nur durch die Lage und die Aussicht. Das Miladhoo Resort bietet den Gästen die Buchung der Verpflegung als Halbpension oder als Vollpension an. Hier stehen den Urlaubern insgesamt drei Restaurants und drei Bars zur Verfügung. Der Gourmet Plan umfasst das tägliche Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen sowie internationale Marken und Premiumsorten an Spirituosen, Bieren, Weinen und Cocktails. Besonders erwähnenswert ist hier auch der Insel Hingucker, das Maledivische Handelsboot, das Ba’Theli, welches mit landestypischen Kreationen und einem romanischem Ambiente die Gäste in den Abendstunden verwöhnt.

AKTIVITÄTEN & ERHOLUNG
Ein Urlaub auf den Malediven bietet kein großes kulturelles Programm, daher ist es umso wichtiger, dass trotz paradiesischer Aussichten etwas Abwechslung geboten wird. Für Entspannung sorgt der über dem Wasser gelegene SPA Bereich mit vier verschiedenen Anwendungssuiten.

Das Milaidhoo Island Resort hat mit einer 30 minütigen Flugzeit eine gute und kurze Anbindung zum Flughafen und hat durch die Lage im UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat noch ein intaktes Korallenriff. Das Schnorcheln wir hier noch zum bunten Abenteuer und ist auch für Anfänger bestens geeignet. Die Villen sind fast alle einheitlich und für zwei Personen perfekt geeignet. Die Anordnung der Villen bietet den Gästen viel Privatsphäre und ungestörte Momente. Für Abwechslung sorgt das Angebot an Aktivitäten und ein traditioneller Kochkurs bringt das Maledivische Flair noch näher.
